Marleen Sleeuwits, Interior no. 62, 2021, ultrachrome print on aluminum

What are you looking at?

For this work Marleen Sleeuwits filled, by hand, all the holes in a suspended ceiling with a pipette with green neon paint. This job took her more than a year. From the painted plates she eventually built a fictional space where the scale is completely unclear. She has cut the final print in parts, which also gives the image a strong three-dimensional character.
